Lazy Sundays are best spent with leisure meal and quality time with family.Deciding a perfect place for family brunch and pleasing all taste palates can be troublesome. K3, all day dining restaurant in JW Marriott, Aerocity lay out a lavish Buffet spread to curate all kinds of age groups, palate and diversity.
Way to the restaurant is from an open to an up-high and vast lobby of the Hotel. The restaurant is enormous and done in a modern way with three live kitchens. Getting hint, where the name K3 comes from. The restaurant has a backyard to die for surrounded by greenery and a water body. The place offers a live Jazz music just to set the noon mood.
To break the monotony and give customers reasons to visit again, almost every month they organise new theme food carnival. We dropped in Between on-going street food festival. Apart from regular nosh, few food stalls were set up in the courtyard. There was a Chinese street stall, offering varieties of Manchurian balls in veg and non-veg.I hogged a plate of cottage cheese, mix veg, and cauliflower dipped in saucy thick delicious gravy.
There was a dedicated counter for Delhi -6 delicacies. Without a doubt, chaat like bhel puri, dahi puri, pani puri, aloo chaat and pav bhajji were there to give the taste of Delhi street food. There was also a separate counter for Nawabi Kebabs which was offering Rajma ki Galoti and seekh kebab. And how can we miss the coastal food of India? Dedicated counter for seafood and grill. Such a scrumptious extravagances.
Apart from the festival menu , there were global flavours from the Cantonese, Tuscan & North India kitchens. Each kitchen is handled by a devoted culinary expert. In Tuscan kitchen, try out some delectable thin crust pizza with spaghetti (One of the best, I have tried in a long time) . The onion potato ratatouille along with other selection of mushrooms and skewers impress a lot . A selection of cold cuts along with a selection of cheeses and bakery items complete up the Tuscany Kitchen.
If this was not enough to lure you, might I add on more ? Cantonese spread a traditional Chinese spread. For those who love traditional Chinese, you have quite a generous amount of varieties to indulge in. Without saying , dim sums with extra chilli sauce were the winner.
If you are still looking for your complete meal , like an Indian Tradition. There is paneer masala , that should not be miss.Bhindi fry was absolutely delicious. The dal makhani hits right on the spots with creamy and dense flavours which go perfectly well with a selection of garlic naans and lachcha paranthas.
Coming to the last counter, and the best one. The one which looks like a dreamland and having all sweets, pastries, chocolate, marshmallow and any dessert possible. Each dessert was done with perfection and we can come for buffet just for this counter. I am still drooling over their blueberry cheesecake, chocolate mouse and Belgian choco chip ice cream.
Life is Uncertain, Let’s eat desserts first !
