A snappy new smartphone – Honor 8Pro has launched in India. Honor 8Pro is the latest addition to its portfolio.I had carried it with me to my recent trip, Rajasthan Royal tale- Bikaner. And here is my take on the new the gadget.
The phone is light and easy to carry around, body works as a comfortable grip. It’s easy to handle. Despite the fact that the Honor 8 Pro comes with a huge 5.7-inch but it is extremely slim – less than 7 mm. The phone looks subtle and classy, the Navy Blue colour makes it stand apart ( matches my outfit for the trip * Grin*)
For my entire trip, Honor 8Pro replaces my DSLR. It’s feature packed smartphone with some amazing picture quality. The Honor 8Pro features dual 12 Mega Pixel cameras at the rear. On the front, there is an 8MP camera. (Why dual camera, so basically one is colour one and other is monochrome- the monochrome sensor captures a lot of data, which then is used to process images so that they have better details, especially in low light.) Enough Said, here are some of the Honor 8Pro capture.
This is a un-edited raw picture of Laxmi Niwas Palace. It was clicked on the Pro-Photo version where the amount of light and saturation was automatically taken care of. The image has sharp and vibrant colour.
This is the panorama view of the Laxmi Niwas Palace. All the details were captured perfectly from one corner to another. Here are few other outdoor shots.
Honor 8Pro has various modes, including HDR mode and Pro Photo and Video mode for automatic adjustment. You can shoot and click on wide aperture mode as well. ( The wide aperture mode produce blurry backgrounds in photos and videos). The colours of pictures remain real and the food looks as scrumptious as it tastes! Here are some of my best food pictures. ( Ps: No editing)
I like how it performs in settings of high contrast as well. It captured the bright lit outdoors as well as capture placed under shade or in the night. It also supports super night mode.
Honor 8Pro is a perfect travel partner, I clicked almost every second thing that my eyes see and still, I was not worried about memory space of speed. Honor 8Pro has a latest octa-Kore processor which gears you up for speed and multi-tasking. The phone has 64GB ROM with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable memory.
Honor 8pro has a very impressive battery life. It went almost 2 days without charging and all the time I was surfing, clicking pictures, making videos. The battery performed really well. And it takes 90mins to charge back up. Apart from that, you can enjoy videos in full HD mode. Make it your friend along the way and play your favourite band.
